Question

Is anyone else having this problem... it's driving me barmy!

It happened once before, when all of a sudden, for no apparant reason, after 7 months of SS vers 4.3 working quite happily on my windows vista machine, it refused to recognise my player and just kept hanging. After uninstalling SS & reinstalling it several times, still to no avail, I went into the sony folder & deleted the remainders of what was left after the uninstall, and then re-installed and hey presto it worked. Now 3 months down the line it's just done the same thing again, but after trying all my old tricks, it really isn't playing ball this time.

I've only got about 350mb space left on the player so wondered if this was maybe playing havoc with it.

Haven't installed any of the firmware updates on it, so it can't be this.

I'm just totally baffled, and really fed up. I don't want to get another MP3 as it's taken me ages to get everything on here, and I love the look of it, and really don't want to have to go down the i-pod route. The player still works fine, I just want to remove old tracks permemantly off it & add some new ones, and it won't let me.. Gggrrrrr!

Can anyone help?

I think that I am having the same problem - I have just installed sonic stage 4.3 onto my vista machine and no matter which way round I open it (before attaching my nw a3000 or after it) the programme freezes and the vista error options come up - to either close it or to look online for the solution (which if you click it doesnt find anything).

I have used sonic stage before on Xp and had no problems and my boyfriend uses it on his pc (which is vista) with no problems so I dont know what is wrong with mine.

Any thoughts?
