I've just composed myself after the 'death' of my HD5. I dropped it and now only get the spinning logo for 30 secs then the unit powers down.
This also happened to my NW-HD3 too about 2 years ago, so i am a little miffed about the so called "G-Shock" technolgy that these little buggers are supposed to have, as they were not dropped from a great height and have no visible damage to the casing either.
I saw the tips regarding draining the battery and then fully recharging, but how can i drain the battery if the unit powers off after 30 secs? Any help would be appreciated, as i am not in the position to purchase a replacement at the moment.
