my NW-HD5 (bought Jan 2006) was working perfectly until recently. Now I can't transfer any files to the device any longer (neither with Sonic Stage nor with Mp3 File Manager).
The device doesn't work as a regular USB storage drive anymore either. Mp3 playback is still working fine.
Typical error messages I see from Win XP are "Invalid I/O Adress" "Insert a disc into drive F:" "Invalid MS-DOS Function" sometimes the system freezes altogether with that Windows blue screen.
In maybe 1 out of 10 cases, I can transfer files though, but obviously that's kind of annoying.
I tried reinitialising the hard drive and using a different computer for file transfer, but it's still the same problem.
Hope someone here can help me, I hope the hard drive isn't defective.
