Eduardo500
Accidentally I removed the software from my Sony Walkman NW-A808 with the explorer. (I know now I shouldn’t) 1) I checked my recycle bin, it was gone2) I downloaded / installed firmware 1.03 (the latest) .. no results. 3) Copied folders from another Walkman on mine, again no results. 4) Done reset the good way and repeated nr 2 & 3 I also copied a song (which worked before) from the windows media player to the mp3 player. (when I look by the explorer the song is visible.) When I disconnect the mp3 player I get the following message “ no song available for playback, please connect to compliant software or device and transfer songs” Tried this a couple of time with different songs. But still without result. Who can help me please??Thanks in advance Eduardo
Avrin
Welcome to the forums! The NW-A808 is a great "old-school" player, so you need SonicStage to transfer music to it. Get SonicStage version 4.2 (unless you are running Vista, in which case you need SonicStage 4.3), e.g., from here: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?s=&am...st&p=117697

The thing is (maybe I don't understand you very well, sorry) that the software on the Walkman it self is gone. And I wonder how I can get that back on my Walkman. Do you have any idea?
