A cd-mp3 player(256kbs) or mzn 707(lp2)(maybe mzn1)?? URGENT

now i really need help, my mothers goin hong kong in a bout 3 days and i need help, im thinking of buying a mzn707 with lcd remote which hopefully will satisfy my needs but i have some questions.

I need a comparison Between 256 kbs mp3 and Lp2

How much music can i get on a 80 min md with Lp2(i guess its 160)

i can have 364 mins of mp3(256kbs) on cd,

So what you guys think, i am gonna do cd to atrac transfer from openmg or whatever software, or encoding with lame if i buy mp3-cd, i know the thing about siz and it matters but still i want to hear some stuff =)) :?: :?:

and cd has fm too and a backlit remote and its about 20 usd cheaper, guys im just worried about the quality, i can carry a fm receive thingy with me

If you're worried about the quality then stay away from LP2 and ALSO don't buy the 'big brands' MP3 players because they suck as well.

I rarely listen to LP2 - which means I NEVER listen to MP3, even at 320kbps.

Sound wise, nothing can touch MD, except CD.

so u say lp2 sucks at quality when compared with lets say 200kbs mp3?? normally i listen to 128 kbs mp3s, i dont like em much but i dont have the $$ for nething else and also not enough space for em, so whatdya say

No - I'm saying MP3 sucks at whatever quality, and while I don't like LP2 that much I'd prefer to listen to that, rather than MP3.
