(Wish I'd had a look here before I bought the 505, as now I would like to record from a microphone, low buget filming, camcorder on board mike rubbish.) From what I have read so far, I need a preamp to get a decent signal from the mike into the MD, problem is I'm on quite a tight buget and the shipping from the United States is crippling - in the region of USD60! So please does any one know where I can get hold of a mike preamp in the UK? I like the look (and price) of the TUBE MP - Applied Research Technologies would this do the trick? Looked on their website and did not see any distributors for the UK. Or can anyone suggest anything else please? Many thanks in advance...
