weak laser power units in minidisc recorders

yeah it seems that the lasers in md units get weak after a certain almount of time for some reason the way the laser is made it just runs that when you record it seems to be recording but when you toc and try to play it back it will say disc error or blank disc that a know problem with alot of old and new md and it should be address that all the companies making their laser on off cheaap crab can goto H**L and thats all i must say now
