Guest Anonymous
Hi, I have an MD system at home, the DHC-MD333. Unfortunately it cannot edit MD's at all anymore or record onto MD anymore. Everytime I try to edit/record I get a 'C11, MD Protected message'. Some people suggested the pin inside the unit which detects whether the disk is write-protected may be bent. Can anyone give me more information? How can I fix it, can I do it myself? Also is there a good, reliable and cheap place in London that does MD repairs? Thank you, Shams
Guest Anonymous
Try putting a small piece of thin sticky tape covering the protect switch tab on the front of your MDs and covering the first hole on the bottom.
Guest Anonymous
Hi and thanks to the person who suggested that I put sticky tape over the write-protection tab, it worked on one of the MD's I put it over. Haven't tried it on any others but I'm sure it should work. Thanks a lot whoever you are. Shams
