kim
hi everyone. I am a linguistist. I got a problem with one of my MDs with very important recorded sounds (from my study group) on it. my n707 regarded it as ünreadable (with "read err"message after I put it in to the machine). I am sure it has been recording normally for the first hour of recording, but somehow I discovered the n707 stopped somewhere between the 1 and 2 hr. When I pressed the recording button, it showed the above message. Then no matter how, the disk becomes unreadable. Please help me. The data is very important to my research work. Does anyone encounter such a problem before? Is there anyone kniowing whether it's possible to rechieve the recorded data of the disk? How? Many thanks to you all. rosapablo
Hi newbie, You could try toc cloning to recover your recording. You will need to make a continuous recording on another MD in the same rec. mode of the disc you wish to save and then clone the toc of that new recording onto the disc you wish to save. It does not matter what sounds is on the new one, just that the rec. mode is the same. If you don't know about toc cloning, look further in this forum for details.
