Guest Anonymous
I recorded with my microphone some audio tracks to my sony mz-n707 minidisc recorder. Now I want to get it on my PC with the USB-Cable. I hope the sound quality will be better in comparison to a transfer over the line in connection at my (bad) soundcard. But my "OpenMD Jukebox Version 2.2" program says "The choosed songs could not be checked in" when I try to transfer it from th minidisc player to my PC. So what can I do? Please help me! Guest Anonymous
There seems to be an solution for that problem - a very expensive one :-(( In Germany I found a toll called "Gemini Copy Protection cracker" that makes out of the copy protected signal (MCMS) a not protected digital one. The apparat costs about 150 Dollar. An you need a Soundcard with a digital in connector. I didn't buy and try it - because I think it is too much money considering I only want to copy my own Recordings and nothing illegal!!! I mope sony!! (Sorry for my bad english!) Joachimwhat does it have to do with the original question? MZ-N707 doesn't have a digital out so there is no reason to worry about SCMS. and there should be no SCMS on your own recordings anyway. If you don't want to use your soundcard you can get an iMic or a similar device (~$30-$40).
Guest Anonymous
very right, the sony mz-n707 has no digital out. so that ist no solution, too. but I didn't know about iMic. Thank you for that idea! Maybe you could tell me what is a good "similar" for my PC? On the other side it stays impossible to transfer recordings I made already (and not at home where I could use iMic) from my minidisc player to my PC and therefore my resentment for Sony products will stay.
