TOC Cloning - MZ-R35

Hi !

I recorded live an MD at a show but the battery went out and I have a blank disc ... I've read lots of things on excellent sites .... and then I tried to make TOC cloning to recover the music ...

I have an old Sony MZ R-35 .... I have noticed that I can enter the Test Mode making the following

Without using "hold button"

FF+FF+RW+RW+FF+RW+FF+RW+pause+pause

remove the battery to exit test mode

My puprpose is :

1-inserting the MD with the TOC to be clone

2-Entering Test Mode

3-Removing MD and inserting MD to receive TOC

4-Exiting test mode

5-Dirtying the toc to write it on the new MD

This works on my MZ-R35 .....BUT

The pb is that the MD player keeps new TOC until I try to write someting (record, track mark, title) ... at this moment, the old TOC re-appears and it's a blank disc ..

As long as I don't try to write the new TOC is on ... As soon as I try to dirty the new TOC ... it brings back the old one ..

Any idea ti help me ???

Thx Stéphane

Also can mail me at stephane.gentreau@wanadoo.fr

Bye
