It's been happening to a number of people, I see. Recording from the internet with USB PC Link and all is going well and for no reason it shuts off. This happens after 20 min. 50 min. 2 hours etc into the recording. Then when I start again Fr End it starts for about 15 sec. and shuts down. Over and over again. It just doesn't want to make it past 15 sec. This is frustrating as hell and I have yet to see an answer why and a solution to this problem. Assuming the disc itself is good, the laser block may have become jammed on something (it tracks along a screw like device, hair, dirt etc may cause jamming). So probably take it to a repair centre.
