Guest Anonymous
I have been using my Sony MZR70 for live recordings but wanted on the fly level controls... so I picked up a Sharp MT190H. The simpler question is where can I get a converter for the power source (and to charge the NiMH battery)... Second, with loud recordings and my Sony, using my battery module, I had to set the sony at peak recording level and still had a volume that was lower than what I want. No more clipping but still not perfect. Is there any reason to believe that the Sharp would reach higher levels than the sony? Using mics from core sound (low sensitivity) and a battery module from sound professionals. Plugging the mic into the battery module and the battery module into the line input of the recorder. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Steve

Guest Anonymous
Before I got the battery module, I tried using the mic input with the same mics and the clipping was terrible. I had heard that I shouldn't use the battery module with mic input? Is that not true?
Guest Anonymous
usually for louder stuff you shouldnt plug into the mic input with a battery box but if you dont get loud enough levels plugging into the mic in will help that
