Lars65
Hello everyone, Well i'm new to the Minidisc world and have a few questions i hope you all can answer. Basically i'm looking for a quality player/recorder for use while running and hooking up to my factory CD HU in my jeep. is a sound-feeder a good idea? if not, what is my best option? also, do i want to stick with Sony? i'll most likely be searching ebay for this purchase...what units specifically would you all recommend? Any help greatly appreciated! thanks
Mystyler
See if you can grab a Sharp, they have higher powered line outs than Sony. Check for these: SR50/60/70/75 MT831/832 MT170/180/190/200 MT877
Lars65
thanks, I will definately look into the Sharps. Does anyone have any ideas about hooking a portable Minidisc up to a car stereo (factory CD player)?
Mystyler
Do you have an AUX input, or a tape deck? Or is CD the only input?
Lars65
Unfortunately, CD is my only input...and i don't want to replace the HU. I'm thinking of possibly hard-wiring an aux input or something if it's do-able or maybe a sound-feeder, but i've heard they're not the greatest idea
Mystyler
Rewiring stuff ain't my forte. I suppose, if you know what you're doing, and are confident. Perhaps the factory could wire one in for you?
Lars65
rewiring isn't my thing either, hehe i was hoping someone around here had done something along these lines. maybe i'll look into that sound-feeder a little more thanks man
