JayMZ-N505
That looks WAY to complicated for me! I wouldnt fancy doing it incase i ruined my MD! Is there any real gains in doing it? Mystyler, have you done it to yours (what do u have?) and what extra functions did it give you? Would you say its worth while? Mystyler
You get an N1 for cheap, functionality wise. That is what the hack is about. Users have said it looks hard, but it rather simple when they tried it. But If you're not comfortable, don't do it. I don't own any portable Sony gear, so I can't help you there. Everything I own is in my sig.
JayMZ-N505
O ok, thanks for the help tho!! One last question if you dont mind (changing the subject completely!!) Earlier today i found a post on here about making labels (it was a 3 step method) with Avery labels. zpeidar
Hmm, I know there is a "Wild Hack" post in this forum but to answer your question: You get: * Line-Out * Auto Time Mark * Personal Disc Memory (might work) * Variable Speed (85%/110%) * M-Timer (Countdown Timer, like the one on your stove) * Sound 1/2 instead of Bass 1/2, Sound 1/2 allows for your own settings of Bass and Treble And a few others, you`ll need a new LCD remote for Variable Speed and Bass control though
anodize*skyther
I did the hack for 3 friends: R500, N505 and R707, all worked perfect... it's a 1 minute job and heaps worth it haven't tried it on any of my units as all my new sonys are 9s and 1s
