Guest Anonymous
I need to find an MD recorder for field recording. Will be using to put audio on Web for photo slide shows, live interviews, etc. NPR style. Cross-compatibility is important, specifically able to use with Mac OS. Just getting started with MD, moving up from cheapo Radio Shack analogs, so kind of clueless. Oh yeah, we're cheap too. What's the best option under or around $200? Thanks. Mystyler
The Sharp MD-MT190 should do nicely. All MDs can only upload in realtime, and in analogue, unless you get a deck with digital out or a first-generation recorder. As long as your Mac has a line in, you're set. Guest Anonymous
If I can piggy back upon Jasonaut's quesiton? How can we turn those MD audio recordings into written text? Thanks.
BJ
 Hire yourself a transcription expert who can type really fast. I don't think there's an accurate way to do it with software.
