Guest Anonymous
Hi all. I'm new to videography and am currently looking for a cheap portable recording medium that I can hide on actors/speakers. From what I hear around the place MD is a viable option but I have no idea which one to get. I would prefer digital out to keep as much quality as possible but from what I have researched there are none around anymore and that I'd have to move up to the "pro" gear to get that. Anyway, what would people suggest for an MD recorder where quality matters most. I don't need titling and all that stuff. It just needs to be able to record at good quality, be able to monitor through headphones as I record, and output good quality so that less noise as possible is introduced. Are there places where you can find the S/N ratios and THD+N for these devices? Sorry for the broad/vague question but this is all new to me Cheers Aaron

Aza
Original poster here, with a username this time. Thanks Mystyler that helps a lot, much appreciated. From what I see, am I right in thinking that none of these do digital output? Cheers Aaron
