Guest Anonymous
Hey, I have a MZ-N505 and I heard that I need a Battery Box to record live concerts beause the 505 dosen't have a mic input. My question, and its probably a very stupid one, is a battery box a battery module? Also does anyone know where I can get a good one? thanks in advance
Mulio!
Yes, a battery box and a battery module are the same thing. You can buy one at www.soundprofessionals.com .

highlandsun
Be careful, make sure you get a battery module that includes a mic preamp. The basic units that Sound Professionals sells don't include the preamp, you have to get that as an additional option. If your recorder only has line-level inputs, then you need the preamp, not just a plain old battery box.

A battery box WITH preamp can cost a lot of dough (if Sound Professionals are any indiciation!), and you should think about what you'd end up recording so you can decide if you really need one.
