Starting up in the middle of the song

K whenever I turn my md on it plays from where it left off. is there a way so that it starts up at the start of the last song played?

I haven't seen an option to disable this feature on a few sony and sharp models. The best one can do is probably hit the rewind button once and it will take you to the beginning of the track.
