Cannot transfer live MP3's to my sony MD Copy right issue

Live music that does not contain a copy write will not transfer to my sony MZ-N707. Is there a way to add copy right information to the song (MP3 format). Or is there another software that will allow my to move around the copy write check? First MD player. Suggestion??? Thanks
