hi..

i have a MZ-R700..ive had it for about a year and a half and has worked fine all this time..but now suddenly..its not saving anything i record!!

i was moving some songs around the other day on a disk and once i had finished it did the TOC edit thing..and suddenly it said my disk is empty! now when i try recording onto it it goes through the DATA SAVE thing in like a second and the TOC EDIT too... when i try playing the song i just "recorded" it plays nothingness and it gets stuck every few seconds and searces the disc.

ive been trying to read up on whats wrong...is it that my write heads going dead???..btw...my old discs play fine..just that i cant record or edit anything!!!

do i need to change my head? and how much does this usually cost???

tnx, and HELP!!!

I don't understand this. From songs 1 to 6.. everything is working fine...but on the 7th song, after i record, the data save and the TOC edit shows on the screen but when i try to play from the 7th song onwards , it just jams and doesn't load the song. I am using a MZ-R700. It is about a year and a half old. So now i only i can hear songs number 1 to 6. Can anyone please help???my e-mail is antoniosingh11@hotmail.com...

P.S: What is with this Japanese manufacturers??? Don't they have their own discussion board so we cango there and ask help?? THey just want us our money rite by going and fixing our md or buying a new one!
