The Sharp (MD-MT190) is a little bit pricier than the Sony (MZ-R909) here in Czech Republic, because Sony has some interesting discounts now. I could not find any reasonable pre-amp at acceptableprice, so I will have to use the built-in one. I am planning to use Sony ECM-MS907 microphone. I think that the Sony has more features and is more rugged (metal shell). Is the difference in quality of pre-amp so great between these two?
