Leigh_
Finally, I've got my MDR (Sony MZ-R55 bought used) and good mic for live recording my a cappella chorus rehearsals, and I have just one question (for now). I'm sure it's best to use my ac adaptor for power, but that's not always feasible. What's better...using the "gumstick" battery (which I think needs to be replaced and I can't find locally) or just AA's? What do most of you do? Thanx for your feedback. johnty
to be safe i'd go with AA's. however, it mostly depends on how long you need to record for. for shorter periods of time the gumpack should do - provided it's still alive.
Guest Anonymous
I just bought a MZ-R55 minidisc recorder and am also in an acapella chorus! Lol, that's weird. The group I sing with is barbershop. Anyway, I bought one of those pen mics off of ebay....I hope the voltage is enough for it.....
