Guest Anonymous
1. On the NZ707, if it's once had levels set manualy, will that level setting stay put between disc swaps, bat changes etc? 2. Is there a hack to make manual level recording the default? Also, I'm going to try to split my mic signal after the bat box and run into two MDs. Will that work? I'll know eventualy, but if someone is hot on this board and can answer in 10-15 minutes.... Thanks
radeon 21_
1) I have no idea what levels you are even talking about, be a bit more specific. Is it bass/treble level, recording level, what? 2) No
BJ
I was under the impression that the machines that use the LR6 (AA) type battery completely power down after 15 minutes or so once the unit is turned off. You would lose your manual recording levels. However, given the battery life of the 707, why not just keep it on rec/pause, ready to go during the recording session? No band is going to hit the stage for more than 5 hours (unless you're recording Phish or someone). And if it comes to that, keep a few extra batteries and swap 'em during breaks. Guest Anonymous
Thanks, that's what I'm getting at... during a bat swap or between disc flips, will the man. recording level be remembered? Also, with a bat in the unit, and between recording sessions (days not minutes) will it hold those? I'm thinking that it does but was seeking authoritative confirmation. Later... radeon 21_
Then I really don't know, on my r700, it saves the bass/treble settings and playback speed but seems to save personal disc settings inconsistently.
