cappy2112
I've owned a MZR-55 for 3 years, bought an extended warranty for it, and now it conked out. Best Buy will be replacing it with another model, this week. I haven't stayed up-to-date with recent MD recorders, so I'm asking for some referrals. I'm not stuck on Sony, but I was fairly-happy with the MZR-55. The buttons on the front panel were a little hard to use, and the remote was not easy to use one-handed. I would be eager to get one of the LP4 models, but I dont' care for the Net MD. I usually prefer to record MD's on a homedeck, or live via mics. I don't know how much Best Buy will alow me for credit, I'm hoping it will be at least as uch as I paid for the MZR-55 ($249). thanks in advance
BJ
I'd say the Sony MZ-R900 or the N909 if they'll swing it. Otherwise, why not the N707? It's NetMD, but it has all the other bells and whistles as well.
Sugo
My local Bestbuy only has NF610 and NE410 so maybe you can ask for NF610 ($199 at Bestbuy). N707 would be a better choice if they still have it (most likely not) as it has mic in.

cappy2112
thanksBest Buy FINALLY got back to me. The only stuff they carry are the NF610, and MZ-S1. Neither has mic in, so I guess I'll go with the NF610.
