My MF810 is f*cked, can not get back into service mode

After playing around with my player in service mode I now have half of the keys changed their functions, like volume control does not work anymore, etc. And I can not get into the service mode!

Anybody had similar problems with their *10 models? How did you fix it?

After doing some research and some thinking I came up with a way to solve this. There is an alternative way to enter the service mode - using a remote control. You have to put the main unit to "hold", and press&hold the "CANCEL/CHG" button on the main unit, then do the ff/ff/rw/rw/ff/rw/ff/rw/pau/pau combination on the _remote_. Timing is important - you have to perform all the keystrokes quick. Use the remote control's ff/rw and vol +/- to navigate through the menus.
