Guest Anonymous
I decided to buy a Sharp IM MT899 NetMD recorder (for recording band practice and gigs) but this model has been discontinued and I can't get hold of it. I am told by Sharp that they will be releasing their new models in September but don't know if I can wait that long! From reading these forums it seems that Sharp are better than Sony for recording. I thought maybe of getting a Sony MZN10 instead - is there really that much difference in sound quality between the two?
Christopher
I'd get a Sharp DR-7. You realize that you cannot upload what you've recorded digitally with NetMD, right? k [woot; 100th post and what a WASTE!]
Guest Anonymous
No I didn't realise that. But you can with the model you recommended?
Christopher
I apologize, I made an error in my statement: "You realize that you cannot upload what you've recorded digitally with NetMD, right?" should be You realize that you cannot upload digitally (USB, etc) anything that you've recorded unless you have one of the newer, more expensive decks. And no, you cannot upload digitally with the DR-7. However, you can still upload, and that information can be found here: http://minidisc.org/minidisc_faq.html#r_q98 later k
