KJ_Palmer Posted May 23, 2003 Report Share Posted May 23, 2003 Yes, non NetMD machines can read NetMD recorded discs, it's all encoded to ATRAC in the unit. The only proviso is that if you use an MDLP (long play) mode for recording, a non MDLP unit (ie. an older unit made before about 2002) won't be able to play it.
