Also if you look on the sony website you'll see they offer a microphone as an accesorry for the MZ-NF610. Here is the email response from sony: Response (Andy) - 05/22/2003 01:09 PM Thank you for contacting SonyStyle with your query. The Electret Condenser Stereo Microphone ECM-DS70P is indeed compatible with the High Speed Net MD Walkman Recorder MZ-NF610.
