what is md head cleaner (ie.TDK-HEAD TDK md head cleaner )

i have problem to record from "Line-in" or "net-md" to my disc

{although it have sound during recording, but after recording no sound is play and my player will auto "blank-disk"}

so when i borrow my friend's disc....it stil can play

so will the md head cleaner help?
