I was recording files and the lo-batt indicator came on. I was connected to external AC power at 4.6 volts when this occured. I replaced the recargable battries with dry batteries and unplugged from power source, but still have the same problem. Any solutions out there besides sending to Sony for $109. flat rate?

Did you sneak into test mode and alter any of the Hex values under "Power"?

Well if u did u'd need a service manual and a multimeter to restore the original values.

I'm trying to restore a MZ-R37 for the last two days with no audio only beeps. However when i get into test mode the 1 KHz tone is audible.During playback i get no DATD signal from ATRAC CXD2652AR pin 24. However this waveform is available during test mode step 11.

What i need is for some1 to give me a list of working hex values coz i cant find a service manual for the unit.

RJ.
