tylendel
ok, i'm a complete MD newbie, but i do know a little bit about them via trading live show recordings for about a year and a half and having a few taper friends. i've done some research and ordered a sharp dr7 today, along with some sound professionals mics (SP-CMC-2 / AT831s) and a battery box. i'm just curious if anyone here has any pointers on working the sharp dr7, or even newbie MD recording pointers in general. i'd appreciate it i probably won't get to test these out til august when i'll be taping some tori amos shows, so i've got some time to try to play with it. Sounds like you'll have plenty of time to get things straight. Just practice.
