Guest Anonymous
Hi, I want to record some Internet radio. I bought a "audio dubbing cable," put one end in the headphone slot of my laptop, put the other end in the MD line -in, press record on the MD, press play on my media player, but no dice. I am sure I am doing something obviously (and stupidly) wrong, but what?
Guest Anonymous
Obvious things first: Did you press the Play (>) button on your MD? Otherwise, is the MD registering incoming sound - there is usually a bar or pair of bars which fluctuate. If not, either the recording level of your MD needs increasing or likewise the output level of your laptop. Hope that helps. Kevin
Guest Anonymous
Yes, I did have it on, but the MD was not registering any sounds. However I tried this morning it worked with no problems (I did have it on last time, I swear!). I'm very excited about MD technology, thanks for your help!
