Guest Anonymous
dear all, i am considering buying a dr7 because of its reputation for recording live sound. q: i notice the unit uses a different type of headphone connection than the standard 3-conductor stereo. i am assuming that the same connection serves as the analog line out for recording onto another device. will i experience problems recording to my computer sound card using a standard 3-conductor cable? what conversion is required? is there an associated loss of sound quality? this is important to me because if using a standard cable negates the benefits of the unit's supposedly superior sound, then there are other units w/ other features i might consider instead. best to all.
