Since the radio of the sony g750 is in the remote control, can you buy a separate remote control? I mean - is this remote control in store in the shops? Cheese Posted June 29, 2003 Report Share Posted June 29, 2003 NO it wont work. 1. because your 501 has no remote control socket anyway 2. because only the G750 and G755 and the NF models supply enough power to the remote to use the radio, you would only get the standard functions, not even the display works. There are places to buy them, i just cant remeber where, try sony spares, but you'd need a new MD to use it anyway....G755 only £100 on amazon.co.uk a little while ago.. Have a N505 (US no remote) and got the RM MZ1T remote (A$10) (was in junk bin at store!) Currenly the Display only shows battry life and track.
