I'm sure this may have been asked here before, but I looked and could not find it. When I try to record audio from a DVD (movie or game) from my PS2 optical out, I get a din unlock. (c71) I know this is because all DVD's are copy protected. Is there anyway that I can somehow bypass this?

Sure. Rip the DVD movie to your computer, demux the AC3 audio; and use NetMD to record it, or downsample/decode the AC3 audio to stereo WAV's, and burn them to a CD and use optical recording from your CD player to record on your MD.
