Guest Anonymous
I have a aiwa f70 and my minidiscs stop playing after approximately 100 hours of play time. Moreover (this is really irritating), the disc get stuck in the player, making all sorts of scratching noises like the system is either trying to play the thing or advance a track or spit it out, but it can't do anything. Then the disk is never playable again. It happened again last night, and my player "chewed" on the disc for 20 minutes before I was finally able to remove the thing by gently prying the door partway open then pressing the eject button. I'm worried that someday one of the suckers will get stuck in there for good, and I'll have to pay a lot of money to get it out. So, is this a problem with the minidiscs (I've used a noname brand and the Sony brand - it happens with both) or is the player contributing to the problem?
