irowley
Bit of a newbie here, so apologies if not the right place. Recently purchased a Sony MZN710 - excellent so far. Friend has returned from Japan with a pair of Sony MDR-E837MP1 headphones. These appear to have a smaller connector which does not fit the remote of the MZN710. Is there a convertor which will allow me to use the headphones with the MZN710? I'd like to use these as they are a better fit for my ears. I've tried searching the Web but I'm not sure what terms I should be searching for. Any help appreciated cheers Ian
Bazirker
Well, just taking a guess... The normal headphone jacks that we are used to are called mini-stereo plugs. The funky one might be a Japanese micro-stereo plug. I can't remember if that's the exact term, althogh the mini/micro part is right. I hope that helps you. BJ
I'm not sure what the real name is for the plug (I think micro-plug might be right, Bazirker), but if it looks like this... ...then there is an adapter that you'd have to order from Sony.
