Guest Anonymous
Hello. All works fine on my old desktop ... Windows 2K, MZ-N1, Open MG Jukebox, installed a few years ago. I just installed the software onto my laptop, running XP Home, and get the error message "External Device/Media not found." I have tried the latest "upgrade" software and the latest drivers. I have tried unplugging power to cradle. Removing and reinstalling driver before connecting cradle. Removing the battery. Reinstalled software and driver several times. Tried bypassing the (externally powered) usb hub. All to no avail. Idon't think it's hardware related. This error message seems familiar from a couple years ago when I first bought the MD player, but I'll be damned if I can remember what I did about it. Anyone? Thanks in advance, Steven

Guest Anonymous
Well, I finally got it to work. My original install disk is from Japan (I didn't wait until the MZ-N1 was available in the states) It comes up with a screen with options to install Open MG or install Net MD. If I first install Open MG and then reinsert the disk and click on "install Net MD" it will work and see my player. Then I install a newer version of Open MG over the top of the existing, so that CDDB will work ... doesn't work with the japanese version. Hope this helps Steven
