Guest Anonymous
Hello. I have a Sharp MT877 that I purchased from minidisco 1 1/2 years ago. I use it primarily for live recordings of music rehearsals and performances. Lately it started to cut out on me, even when the battery showed a full charge. Then it stopped charging altogether. And THEN it stopped working -- even with the adapter. I took it for servicing estimates and was told the first time that an internal circuit was "bad" and needed replacing (which I did not do). Next time I took it in, I was told the adapter was "bad" and to go to Radio Shack and buy a new one (which I did). For a couple of days it worked beautifully, and then it started this new trick of erasing tracks that seemed to be recording properly. Can the authorized Sharp Service techs (local guys at Radio Advisory) really fix these problems, or is it time to look into buying a new one outright? (Note: I have never replaced or tested the battery.) Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
