Guest Anonymous
I am going to buy an mz-n910... i've had md's before (mz-r55, and mz-r90)... i produce music on my pc using pro applications and hardware... net-md appeals to me because it effectively provides a digital-in for wav files to be transported from pc --> minidisc. is this the case?? Also, i remember reading on the comet.co.uk webpage has the "MZ-N910L" for sale at a very good price, however under a list of product information is says "Microphone Socket : No" What is this all about? is the MZ-N910L different.. i have seen the 910 sold as MZ-N910S as well as just MZ-N910. I have also seen (in europe) mz-n510 sold that have Type-R Atrac!!! I want to make sure that i get an upto date, best version of the MZ-N910 there is, WITH a microphone socket, as i intend to buy a sony stereo digital microphone so that i can use my minidisc as a portable digital sampleing device, as a tool for music making. I believe that even without a microphone socket you can record through the line-in, but that this isn't acceptable as a mic socket provides power so as to boost the signal and make it clearer. Please help.
