Hi to everyone,

I am recording from a Mac to my NetMD device using the Sonica USB audio card and an optical cable. I put the device in Sync-R and I'm using Audion to play mp3 with a 2 seconds of pause between each track so that the NetMD device can add track marks between two songs.

The weird thing is that is also add a 0 second long track between two tracks!

It's not a real problem, but it is really annoying!

Do you know why this happens and how can I deal with it?

Thanks!

By using Xmd I just noticed that that 0 second long track are, indeed,

0.40 or 0.80 seconds long.

This is weird...it means that there should be some noise right?

How can be noise on an optical digital cable?
