Guest Anonymous
Hi I hope you can tell me what to do. I copied "original" cd's to my pc, using musicmatch. Then I imported them to the sonic stage program that came with the sony minidisc. They were converted and now I have a real mess in the MG jukebox... I wanted to burn a few of those files unto a cd, yet I am unsure if I am following the correct path. Do I have to convert the files to wav? Does the burner do it? Or do I try to use the minidisc to transfer the loaded files to the burner? I have no idea if what I am thinking has any sense. Please help if you can.
Guest Anonymous
If you want to make a music CD that plays on any stereo, then you use MusicMatch or another ripper to copy the CD to WAV files. Then you burn an audio-CD from the WAV files. If you want to burn an MP3-CD, then you rip to MP3's with MusicMatch (though I would suggest using something better like EAC+Lame) and then burn an MP3-CD or a data-CD. If you want to burn an ATRAC3plus-CD, then you should rip to WAV with musicmatch, use SonicStage or whatever to encode the WAV's to ATRAC3plus, and then burn a data CD with the resultant OMG files.
