Guest Anonymous
No unluckily, it's impossible to put a remote control on a mzr-500. I know it because i had already have this one. The plug of the unit doesn't correspond to the remote's plug.

Guest Anonymous
Hi, that was a question, that I have asked myself. After I read the Service Manual of the R500, I knew the answer. The mainboard is not designed to replace the existing headphone connector with a connector for headphone and remote control. But... The mainboard has four test points called AP302 to AP305 which represent the remote control connector. I think they were used during the manufacturing process for testing. You can look at these test points when you slide up the battery door (don't open it). Between the below edge of the battery door and the case there is a a small rectangle opening. This allows you to directly look onto the mainboard, onto the four small golden test points. Remote control PIN: Description (Label / Test Point) 1: Digital GND (RGND / AP305) 2: Resistor 1 (KEY-R / AP304) 3: Digital Signal (DTCK / AP303) 4: Resistor 2 (RVCC / AP302) RVCC: Remote Control VCC RGND: Remote Control GND DTCK: Data KEY-R: Key-Resistors Becareful, I haven't verified these information I got from the service manual. Good luck, Dietrich
