Annoying "Auto Pause" announcement on display...!

I just bought three Sony MDS-JE780 decks, happy to see all the new features as USB, keyboard connection etc. Only thing that makes me mad is when I have the Auto Pause option switched on, I can't see the name of the track that's going to play next, instead the display says "Auto Pause". I can't understand why Sony changed this. I have used at least 30 decks since early nineties, up to now there has been a little discrete text on display indicating the option is on and otherwise the display has acted normally. Please, does anyone know a way around this? I must use the auto pause playing music and sound effects in a theater. Help!
