Guest Anonymous
Anybody have any thoughts on SP-BOOSTER-1 battery pack? Is it worth getting or is there a better model? I like it because it's so small. The price is a little high $69.99  Thanks!!!! http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/...ER-1&type=store
Mark Nicholson
The thing I would worry about is whether the mics would pick up mechanical noise from your minidisc recorder. It seems to me that mechanical noise from the minidisc recorder is usually a problem when it is starting up or when the disc is restarting when it is in a power saving mode. You could probably figure this out by mindfully listening to your machine. I have had nothing but excellent dealing with www.soundprofessionals.com Mindfulness is good, by the way. Guest Anonymous
Try asking your question directly to Sound Pros. I too have had very good dealing with them and Chris has given me a lot of straight answers to my many questions. Superb customer service. Guest Anonymous
Hello: The SP-BOOSTER-1 is a low cost alternative to the popular SP-PASM-2 preamplified stereo microphone. While the PASM-2 will handle anything from a wisper to an extremely loud rock concert, the Booster was designed for the "middle".....moderately soft to moderately loud. As far as the cost, there is really nothing else that even comes close in performance in the same price range. ALso, you don't ahve to use the mic right up against the recorder....it has a 14" cable. If you have any questions, here are some details: http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/...ER-1&type=store Take care Chris Carfagno The Sound Professionals 800-213-3021
