Guest Anonymous Posted September 24, 2003 Report Share Posted September 24, 2003 Hey people, I've a mz-r700 and I'm wondering if maybe the optical in is broken. It, in the past worked just fine, but recently trying to record new discs, I get the classic "no signal". I've tried it on the following equip, the xitel pc-link, a sony dvd player, and my ps-2. All of which did have the red light coming out of the optical cable. I've even tried buying a new cable. Nothing. Analog recording still works, but is undesirable. Anyone ever have this kind of problem? Anyone recommend maybe some way to clean this thing? Is it shot? Anything a lazy novice like myself can do, or should I just get that iPod I've been eyeing?
