Guest Anonymous
I am not sure where to start on this, so I thought I would get some expert advice here. I have a Sony MD player with an external microphone. I am a musician and upon playing back the recording of my class yesterday, there was lots of static, as if wind were blowing across the microphone (but wasn't the case). I can hear the instruments playing, but cannot hear comments of the instructor. The static is too loud. I was going to start by replacing the battery and the disc. Am I headed in the right direction? Do you have any other suggestions as to what might be the cause? Is there any way to recover the original recording? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks for your time.
