Sonic Stage 'omgjbox' illegal operation

For a while I didn't have any trouble with either the hardware or software which came along with my MZ-NE410 package. But lately any time I try to open Sonic Stage and get into my Music Drive to either import songs to the drive or export them onto the MD an "Omgjbox" Illegal Operation box pops up and shuts down the entire program. More annoying is that the Illegal Operation box won't disappear, regardless of how many times I click away at the "Close" button.

The Sonic Stage version I'm running is 1.5 and no matter how many times I try reinstalling the program (after running the uninstall) I always end up in the same dead end. What's puzzling is that this occurred almost arbitrarily since the errors cropped up in the middle of a regular day when in the past month I haven't installed or uninstalled any new programs.

Unless I can get Sonic Stage running I can't think of any other options to make owning this little thing worthwhile. Are there proxies out there I could give a shot or is this MD built exclusively for Sony's Sonic Stage? Arrrgghhh.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

After further investigation I'll have to agree with you. I get Invalid Page errors off of the kernel.dll and my computer has been very laggly lately. That issue began at about the same time as my Sonic Stage troubles, now that I think about it.

Thanks for pointing that out. I would've ended up reformatting my HD.

cheers
