b00rocal
Hi MD freaks I just got a MZ N710 for Xmas and I've been having some problems: 1. When I try to record from a DVD player (my Xbox actually), it records the music from the title menu of my Chili Peppers Live At Slane DVD, but when I actually play the show I get a message saying NO COPY and it makes a grinding sort of noise. What's going on? 2. NetMD doesn't work on my computer because I have the original Windows 95. Is there a patch that makes Sonicstage 1.5 work on the original Windows 95, or is there an alternative? 3. What is a 'hack'? Will it invalidate my warranty? Will it screw up my MDs or damage my player? Thanks.
Guest Anonymous
1) SCMS (copy-control) is not allowing you to make a copy from that DVD. The grinding noise is normal; it's just the sound an MD recorder makes when it spins the disc down. 2) No. All I can suggest is to get at least Windows 2000. 3) There aren't any hacks that can help you with this. ... Look on the bright side: you can still hook your MD up to your CD player and copy any of your music CD's directly.
